The Darker Side of Light

All it took was one 73 yr old man.. to stir  the nation.. risk his life selflessly for an aggrieved nation bleeding to the rascals who by no vague means deserve to lead the country. A peaceful dignified genuine protest of four days to show what really needs to be done and how..
Talking of it, I cannot help but think of my state in this same country bleeding to death in the name of protest..Youth provoked misled.. horribly and  ruthlessly asked to destroy in the name of dividing the state by losers sitting at the top calling themselves politicians. They have been witnessing the dance of death and revelling in the bloodshed for all they care is the cruel pleasure of having endless power to themselves..
Two years of lost peace..Lost lives or… killed rather.. Burnt buses.. City losing its daily life.. Citizens harassed and forced to cease simple mandatory activities..Lost Future..Disrupted present.  I truly wonder if this is what people really want and if they really want it that badly.. why are we still nowhere near.. How much more do we have to lose to gain nothing..
As much as I celebrate for the nation’s victory now.. I grieve for what’s to come in a place I call home!!

Old Wine in a New Bottle

What has started off as a way to distract my distraction will hopefully turn into something meaningful as I write on..
To start with, the reason why the line on top says Old Wine in a New Bottle is because it precisely describes the way I think. My ideologies as I believe are rather conventional for what seems an unconventional age that we’re living in.
The age of achievements, the age of aplomb, the age of attitude and now an age of carrying arrogance with élan. The age where the mind has pushed boundaries that people never knew had existed before, the age where the mind’s power is at its greatest leading mankind to unimaginable heights.
Among this entire extravaganza, there is one thing I long for…SIMPLICITY. Simplicity of word, deed, emotions and existence. An important virtue, a characteristic feature of humans, which we now seem ignorant of. The complexity around our lives is just a by product of an overworked mind which has very well taken care of how things could be made easy but not simple.
Easy grades, Easy work, easy money, easy friendships, easy relationships. Anything around is just as easy to work for as it is to work against it. While access to the most significant things in life has become easier like never before, our new age mind unfortunately does not provide us with a manual of easy maintenance of such possessions. What follows after an easy access to life is a complex struggle of sustenance.
If only there was a way out which was just as easy.. One long lost solution which I can think of, which could possibly be a coolant to our mind working overtime to radiate power is... to... SWITCH IT OFF...
Listen to your heart in every walk of life... Let your heart take you over... Life’s simplest that way...
